HomeCalc ("we", "us") is a collection of online calculators for building material estimates. This page explains what data we collect and what we don't. The short version: we collect almost nothing.
What we collect
Almost nothing. The site has no sign-up, no email capture and no accounts.
Calculations run in your browser
Every calculator on this site runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript. The measurements you enter (length, width, depth, shape) never leave your device and are never sent to or stored on our servers. Closing the tab clears them.
Cookies and local storage
We use your browser's local storage only to remember two things: your theme preference (light / dark / system) and your language choice. These stay on your device and are not shared with anyone. We do not use tracking cookies.
Analytics and advertising
If we display ads, advertising partners (such as Google) may use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
Your choices
You can clear your browser cache and local storage at any time to remove the preferences described above. For personalized advertising, use the opt-out link in the previous section.

If we ever change how we handle data, we'll update this page and revise the "last updated" date above.
